Tour Description:

Retreat from the drudges and humdrum of daily life as you journey across the mountainous Crocker Range set with verdant rainforests on rolling hills. Breathe in the fresh air while en route to Kinabalu Park, catching a glimpse of the majestic Mount Kinabalu—a breathtaking sight that is impossible to miss. One of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia, the woodlands surrounding the mountain is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna. Aside from brilliant epiphytic and terrestrial orchids, the park is also home to the Rafflesia flower and its fabled odour.

Make a pit stop at Nabalu Market where you will be bombarded by a range of colourful merchandises, handicrafts and local produce. There are various types of fruits and snacks available for purchase; from rice, wild honey to the seasonal durian, it is a real bargain.?Stretch your legs or make for the reasonably clean toilet before continuing on your journey to the park. Do purchase a handicraft souvenir or two to commemorate your trip here.

Tighten your straps and shoes as you will explore the Kinabalu Park—a World Heritage Site that is home to an incredibly vast array of flora and flora—a haven for nature enthusiasts. The park offers numerous activities such as alpine rock climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, birding and canopy walk. For this tour, you will get to enjoy a guided nature trek to take in the scenery and enjoy being up-close to nature. After a refreshing walk, enjoy a scrumptious meal at a local restaurant—out of a dozen that is available in the vicinity. Once you have had your fill for the day, wrap things up with some selfies against the gorgeous mountainous backdrop before heading back to Kota Kinabalu.
