Tour Description:

Our tour begins at approximately 8.00am where you will be ferried from your hotel to the Merang Jetty. Along the way, take in the sights of the countryside and glimpse traditional Malay houses that seem prevalent in this part of Malaysia. The picturesque scenery is a great start to the exciting tour but wait till you’re on Redang Island itself; where you may be inundated with a cornucopia of natural wonders—making you wish that you have adequate time to explore it all. Once at the jetty, we will depart for Redang Island at 9.00am by speedboat, bringing you one step closer as the excitement becomes palpable.

As your feet touch the soft fine sands of Redang Island, we will first proceed to the Marine Park Centre. This is where all the fun to be had is located. The Marine Park Centre is a hub for turtle research and conservation efforts; within the vicinity itself lies a turtle hatchery that may intrigue you. Otherwise, get yourself hyped up and ready for a snorkelling adventure out into the sea. You can also feed the fishes and observe as a shoal of fish swarm right in front of you to get to the food. We will also board the boat to head towards a nearby island for more snorkelling fun! Look out for Barracudas and eels; or if you’re lucky, you may spot some stingrays lurking near coral reefs.

At approximately 1 pm, we will settle down for some lunch to sate that growling stomach and gnawing hunger. Once you have had your fill, take some time to relax and just bask in the sun. Build sandcastles, read a book, or just watch the undulating waves gently lapping the shores without anything to rouse you from your pensive mood. You are more than welcome to snorkel and swim some more if you like. At 2.30 pm, we will begin to make our journey back to Kuala Terengganu, leaving behind footprints and bringing home fond memories; a tale that deserves to be shared on Instagram or friends back home.
